There are numerous taxi companies in Novi Sad offering dependable services for a very reasonable price.
The average starting fee is 100 dinars and each consecutive kilometre is 35 dinars. The average fee from the central bus and railway stations to the Petrovaradin Fortress is between 150-200 dinars. Make sure that the meter is on, and pay the amount that you see on the display (the minimum fee for one ride is 100 dinars). Please note that the above prices apply to registered cabs, and it is highly recommended that registered cabs be used – unregistered taxis are far more expensive.
